Magnetic Particle

Testing

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), also referred to as Magnetic Particle Inspection, is a nondestructive examination (NDE) technique used to detect surface and slightly subsurface flaws in most ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt, and some of their alloys.

Liquid Penetrant Testing

Dye penetrant inspection (DP), also called liquid penetrate inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics).

Hardness & Ultrasonic Testing

Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a non-destructive test method that utilizes sound waves to detect cracks and defects in parts and materials. It can also be used to determine a material's thickness, such as measuring the wall thickness of a pipe.

Hardness testing evaluates the mechanical properties of metals and other materials.

Radiography

Industrial radiography is a method of non-destructive testing where many types of manufactured components can be examined to verify the internal structure and integrity of the specimen. Industrial Radiography can be performed utilizing either X-rays or gamma rays.

Demagnetizing

We now offer Demagnetizing Services. Pipelines that have been in service get magnetized over time. Removing the magnetism will reduce welding times and reduce repair rates and help you get your pipelines back into service sooner. Also reduces whining from welders.
